The repairs we see most
- Sagging runs. Usually spike-and-ferrule fasteners that have worked loose from the fascia. We re-hang with screw-in hidden hangers so it stays put.
- Leaking corners and end caps. Old sealant fails first at the joints. We clean, dry and reseal, or replace the mitered corner if it has corroded.

We look at three things: how much of the system is affected, what the gutters are made of, and the condition of the fascia. A single loose hanger or one leaking corner is a repair. Steel gutters with rust, sectional runs with multiple failed seams, or fascia that is soft along an entire side are usually a replacement. Fascia and soffit damage
Years of gutter overflow rots fascia boards from the top edge down, which is why a gutter that "just needs re-hanging" sometimes will not hold a screw. We check the board at every hanger point. When it needs replacing we handle the fascia before the gutter goes back up, so you are not paying for the same repair twice.

Can a sagging gutter be repaired?
Usually, yes. Sagging is almost always loose fasteners. We re-hang the run with screw-in hidden hangers and re-pitch it toward the downspout. If the fascia behind it has rotted, we replace that board first so the hangers hold.
Why does my gutter leak at the corner?
Corners and end caps rely on sealant, and sealant dries out and cracks in South Carolina sun. We clean and reseal sound corners and replace corroded ones.
